I started Edessa Studio because I wanted to create the kind of beauty experience I couldn’t always find: one that’s warm, intentional, and informed.
My love for beauty started young. I would watch YouTube makeup tutorials and try to recreate eye looks using my Claire’s makeup palettes. I didn’t know at that time, but that curiosity was the beginning of everything.
As I got older, I considered pursuing cosmetology right away. Instead, I chose to attend university. I went to UC Riverside initially as pre-med, thinking that medicine was the path for me. But something didn’t fully align. I still loved science… I just didn’t see myself in a hospital.
I graduated in 2021 with a degree in Chemistry and a minor in Psychology, and that education completely changed the way I approach beauty. I don’t just perform services: I analyze, customize, and build strategy behind them.
Edessa Studio began in early 2020 with Gel-X nails… but the vision was always larger.
What started as just nail art evolved into a full beauty studio rooted in education and intention. A space where science meets refinement. As my passion for beauty grew, I wanted to offer and learn more.
Today, I’m dual-licensed in California as both an Esthetician and Manicurist. Combining clinical knowledge with technical skill across every service I offer, from nails, to skin, to brows, to lashes.
This studio reflects my growth and passion for this industry — and it continues to grow as I do.
